Welcome!

As Past-Speaker of the House of Delegates and long-time volunteer at the national, state and district levels, I am asking for your vote to become the next President-elect of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

As President-elect, I will

• bring a passion for the profession and experience in strategic planning, team building, negotiating, visioning a dynamic future for the profession, and working with members to further develop their leadership skills.
• use my international experiences presenting at meetings and living and traveling abroad as we reach out to our international partners to advance dietetics and nutrition across the globe.
• capitalize on my teaching and research background to provide leadership as we move toward requiring graduate education for entry-level practice and as we implement advanced practice.

Through my participation on the Academy Board of Directors, the House Leadership Team and on multiple Academy committees and councils, I have demonstrated that I will seek member input and I will listen to member concerns as we work together to move our profession forward.
